Process of opening up a laptop through experts of Hp Support

  1. Remove the plug of the laptop from all power sources, keyboards, speakers, and mouse devices. There should be nothing plugged to the system while it is in working mode. Also, storage devices like USB, pen drive should be connected with it. They can damage the service operation.
  2. Before opening the laptop, take off the items from the bottom. Remove the battery pack from its slot on the bottom of the system. Now, unscrew the compartment for the HDD module located under its own door.
  3. Locate HDD module and unscrew the optical drive module located beside it. Doing this will help in protecting the single components of the system as well as making the cover easier to access. 
  4. Remove all the screws on the top of the system’s bottom cover. It will be nearby 20 screws in total. Make sure no wire should be connected to the laptop during this process.
  5. Once this is done, remove the top cover carefully and gently. Don’t jerk it, or apply force. If it creates a problem and doesn’t come out then check to make sure that you unscrews all screws and then try it again.
